The Alba Quartet was formed in 2003 and has established itself as one of the most exciting ensembles in the country. The inaugural recipient of the EMS residency project, they have received critical acclaim for their performances at the S-O-U-N-D, Glasgow's West-End and St Magnus Festivals as well as further afield in Europe. They continue to play regularly for music societies across the country from London to the Highlands and Islands.
